No. ProLens is strictly read-only. We never write, edit, create, or delete anything in your BQE Core account.
What data does ProLens access?
ProLens reads your projects, time entries, invoices, AR aging, employees, and (if enabled) BQE's built-in CRM pipeline. We never read passwords, private notes, or anything outside the data needed to populate your dashboard widgets.
How often does data refresh?
Every 15 minutes automatically. The data you see on your dashboard is held only long enough to display it, then erased.
What is a PSA?
Platforms like BQE Core, along with others like Deltek and Harvest, are sometimes referred to as PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools in the industry. We call them project management tools throughout this site so the jargon does not get in the way.
Do I need any BQE add-on modules?
No. Standard BQE Core gives ProLens the data it needs. If you use BQE's optional CRM module, pipeline data flows automatically too — no extra setup required.
